The photograph, above, shows Diana with her husband, Al (right), and famed Canadian composer Malcolm Forsyth at the time of Diana and Al's 50th wedding Anniversary. Just hours earlier the Ritchie Trombone Choir had performed, in City Hall, the World Premiere of a composition by Malcolm called Sonic Mobile. This composition was written in honor of Al and Diana and the Ritchie Choir was joined in the performance by all three of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra trombonists, John McPherson, Kathy McIntosh, and Chris Taylor. Diane and Al have now been married 52 years, have four children and 12 grandchildren .
